Charlene Kim

Charlene graduated with a B.S. in Biology and first joined the Lester Lab during an internship with the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. Since joining, Charlene's projects have included microdissection and culture of primary neurons, immunocytochemistry, RNA work, and confocal imaging to investigate the role of nicotinic receptors in Parkinson's disease and addiction. Her current work focuses on the development of biosensors that will further define the mechanisms of action of drugs in the brain.
